UPPER NEUSE WATERSHED EVALUATION TOOL (WET)

The UNRBA, the United States Geological Survey (USGS), and the North Carolina Ecosystem Enhancement Program (NCEEP) have created a Watershed Evaluation Tool (WET) for the Upper Neuse River Basin. The WET is the first national pilot project of the USGS's National Hydrography Dataset. The WET provides local communities with a Geographic Information Systems-based tool to automate much of the basic analysis needed in many types of watershed planning.
